This one's built to survive conditions that wreck a normal permanent marker — heavy moisture, direct UV, and chemical solvents like acetone or alcohol. The oil-based ink uses larger resin particles that bond hard into whatever surface it's on, so once it's dry it doesn't fade in the sun, wash out in the rain, or get wiped away by the kind of solvents that'll strip a regular marker clean off.

That solvent resistance is the real reason street artists and illustrators reach for this one specifically: lay down a black keyline with the 0.9 mm bullet tip, then go back over it with Copic or other alcohol-based markers without the black line bleeding, smudging, or lifting into the color. It writes on basically anything — paper, plastic, glass, metal, freezer bags, rough fabric — and the tip itself holds its shape under hard pressure instead of fraying or splitting.
