The Eye Micro uses a fine 0.5 mm tip, built for small, precise writing rather than broad coverage — tight checkboxes, small grid entries, or any detail work where a thicker line would blur together. The tip holds a steady monoline stroke at speed thanks to uni-ball's Uni-Flow capillary regulator, which keeps the ink pressure balanced so it doesn't pool, skip, or leak even while writing quickly.

The ink is uni-ball's archival "Super Ink," drying fast to a waterproof, fade-resistant finish that's certified under ISO 14145-2 for document accuracy — relevant for legal or accounting use where the record needs to hold up over time. It also doesn't feather or bleed through to the back of thinner notebook paper, which matters at this fine a line width.
