The Sakura Koi 48-Pack is the largest set in the Koi brush pen range, built around filling in gaps that usually require mixing your own colors — a full range of skin tones, plus warm and cool grays in light, medium, and dark values, alongside the usual primary and secondary shades. That's useful for portrait shading, architectural sketches, or any work where you'd otherwise need to blend two pens together just to get a usable mid-tone gray.

Each pen uses the same nylon brush tip as the rest of the range, fed by a capillary system that keeps the tip consistently saturated so it doesn't dry out or skip during longer strokes — useful when filling in larger areas rather than just lettering or fine detail. The ink itself is a non-toxic, water-soluble, acid-free dye. The set comes in a multi-tiered storage box that holds all 48 pens upright and organized by color.
