The Pilot V Sign Pen is built for writing that needs to stay dark and legible on harder-to-write-on surfaces — parcel labels, packaging, document margins, or anywhere a regular pen tends to skip or fade. The 2.0 mm polyacetal tip is wear-resistant and glides without scratching or fraying, even with quick hand movement, and Pilot's V-System ink regulator keeps a steady flow of liquid ink to the tip regardless of how you're holding the pen — including writing straight up, at an angle, or upside down.

The ink dries quickly on glossy packaging and label stock without bleeding through standard notebook paper, which makes it useful for both signing documents and labeling boxes with the same pen. The barrel has a built-in window so you can see how much ink is left, and the cap and clip are color-matched to the ink inside.
