The Pilot Super Color Jumbo is the big one in the lineup — a 12.0 mm chisel tip built for block letters, big tags, and any surface where a regular marker just isn't wide enough to cover ground fast. Turn the chisel edge and you get anywhere from an 8.0 mm to the full 12.0 mm stroke, so you can switch between a slightly narrower line and a full block fill without putting the marker down. A capillary feed keeps ink flowing steadily to the tip even during long, heavy strokes, so you don't end up with patchy or streaky fills halfway through a big letter.

The barrel is solid aluminum rather than plastic, which holds up better to getting dropped, thrown in a bag, or generally knocked around than a standard marker body would, and it's built around a bigger ink reservoir so it doesn't run dry halfway through a piece. The ink itself is oil-based black, and it's built to take a beating outdoors — it holds up against rain, washing, and UV fading once it's dry, so marks don't bleach out or wash away after a few weeks outside.
