This pen writes two different colors depending on the paper. The dye and reflective micro-glitter blend so that on white paper the base color shows through with sparkle, and on black or dark card the dye fades back and the metallic shimmer takes over entirely — effectively two pens in one barrel. That's the whole reason this exists, and it's why it's become a staple for bullet journaling, scrapbooking, and invitation work that moves between light and dark stock. The 1.0 mm tip is built specifically to push the glitter particles through without clogging, which a standard fine tip can't reliably do.

Eight color pairings are available. Most shift hue between paper types (e.g. writes black on white, shimmers metallic red on dark). Gold and Silver are the exception — they shimmer the same color on both light and dark surfaces rather than switching.
