The Moleskine Art Collection Pocket Aquarelle Book is the most portable configuration in the watercolor album range — 30 sheets of 200 g/m² cold-pressed paper with 25% cotton fiber content in a 9 x 14 cm landscape format that fits jacket pockets and small field bags. The cotton fiber content provides superior water absorption and surface toughness compared to pure cellulose stock — preventing fiber pilling and paper buckling under deep saturation, wet-on-wet blending, and heavy ink washes at this compact scale. At pocket size the rigid black hardcover is particularly valuable as a self-supporting painting surface for true plein air and standing outdoor use without a desk or easel.

Cold-pressed texture runs identically on both sides of each sheet — 60 usable painting pages across 30 dual-sided sheets. The landscape orientation suits panoramic field studies and wide architectural sketches. Color-matched elastic closure, textile ribbon marker, and internal expandable accordion document sleeve included.
