The Moleskine Art Collection Large Aquarelle Book is a professional watercolor album in a landscape A5-equivalent format — 36 sheets of 200 g/m² cold-pressed paper with 25% cotton fiber content, built for outdoor painting, urban gouache illustration, and fine-art calligraphy in a portable field format. The cotton fiber content is the key technical distinction from standard cellulose watercolor paper — it absorbs water more evenly, allows cleaner pigment lifting, and holds structural integrity significantly better under heavy saturation and gradient washes without buckling or fiber pilling.

Cold-pressed texture runs identically on both sides of each sheet — both faces perform equally for wet media work, effectively doubling usable painting surfaces per album to 72 pages. The landscape orientation and rigid black hardcover provide a stable self-supporting drawing surface for standing outdoor use and location painting. Color-matched elastic closure, textile ribbon marker, and internal expandable accordion document sleeve included.
