Common Questions
- What is the practical difference between the K-60 and K-63? The K-60 uses thick pigmented paint — fully opaque, weather-proof, sits on the surface. The K-63 uses fluid dye-based ink — semi-translucent, faster drying, bleeds into porous surfaces for a deeper, glossier black. The K-60 is the choice for coverage and outdoor use; the K-63 is the choice for speed, fluid script, and ink depth on indoor surfaces.
- Does the K-63 bleed through sketchbook paper? On standard lightweight sketchbook paper the alcohol-based ink will bleed through — high-density sketchbook paper or treated surfaces are recommended for controlled results without show-through.
