Way better than sketching in a blackbook when you want to see how your piece translates to that iconic subway format.
Pro tip: Hit it with spray varnish after you're done painting. Gives you UV protection and keeps it from getting scratched up. If the canvas feels too matte before you start, a light coat of varnish smooths out the surface for cleaner marker flow.
