Fifteen colors that move beyond the basics — the Caran d'Ache Neocolor II 15-set expands the core primary palette with key transitional values including turquoise, ochre, burnt sienna, and violet. The broader range reduces the amount of mixing needed for landscape sketching, quick wash studies, and mixed-media illustration work. Like the rest of the Neocolor II line, each crayon functions both as a dry wax pastel and as a fully water-soluble pigment that dissolves cleanly under a wet brush.

The high-density formula delivers exceptional opacity — light colors layer cleanly over dark backgrounds without muddying. Adheres to porous substrates like paper, canvas, and wood, as well as non-porous surfaces including glass, unglazed ceramic, and metal. Housed in a durable metal presentation tin.
