The Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 100-piece set is the complete professional colored pencil collection — every color in the Luminance range in a single box. Built for professional illustrators, fine artists, and educators who need the full spectrum without compromise. The 3.8mm wax-and-oil core delivers exceptional pigment density and smooth laydown with zero wax bloom. Two Full Blender Bright sticks are included for polishing and grain-flattening work.

Lightfastness is where the Luminance 6901 stands apart. Every pencil in this set is certified under the ASTM D-6901 international standard, with 80% of colors rated LFI — meaning they remain fade-resistant for up to 100 years under museum gallery conditions. The cedar wood casing is FSC-certified and sharpens cleanly without splitting. Pencils are seated in high-density foam inserts inside a protective storage box, protecting tips during transport and storage.

Suitable for burnishing, heavy layering, photo-realistic gradients, and precision color mixing on fine art papers, illustration boards, and mixed media surfaces.
